A Message from the Executive Director
WELCOME HOME
Laurelmead is a very warm and friendly community. Even so, sometimes it takes a little time for our new residents to get settled in, which is the case for anyone moving to a different neighborhood. Therefore, we have several ways of welcoming our “newbies” into the fold. Our Mentoring Program is comprised of more-established residents that happily volunteer to show new residents the ropes. Mentor responsibilities include inviting new residents to dinner, activities, and our Fitness Center, introducing them to other residents, familiarizing out-of-towners with the area, answering questions, and being available to lend a hand. Recently we had one of our New Resident Wine & Cheese celebrations, which is another effective (and fun!) way to let our new residents know how happy we are to have them. Our vibrant community is always growing and thriving. Whether someone has lived here for 20 years or only a couple of months, Laurelmead is home sweet home.
If you have any questions or comments you can contact me here. I look forward to hearing from you.
